If you are a FibreTrace® VERIFIED or MAPPED customer, you can use QR Codes to share your traceability story with end consumers.
Once the QR code is scanned by a smartphone, the user will be brought to the B2C site stating with the domnain name scan.fibretrace.io as per the screenshot below.
To find steps to view and download the QR code, please refer to the steps in this article.
Sometimes when you try to view the QR code, you may see this warning message:
This is a warning to say that your order is not ready to be shared. There could be several reasons for this:
- The Order Completion Date is in the future. The Order Completion Date needs to be today's date or a date in the past. You may Change the Order Completion Date by navigating to the specific Active Order that you want to change and click Edit this Order.
- There are Geographic Restrictions on this order. The order administrator may have restricted certain countries from accessing the QR code. You can check with your admin to update the settings. You can find out who your admin is in this article.
- The number of scans allowed in a given period has been exceeded.
- The brand or manufacturer has B2C turned off/disabled. When creating or editing an Order Process, you can set the B2C visibility option to either 'on' or 'off' as seen in the following picture:
If your order QR Link happens to show a 'Verification Failed' warning message for any reason other than the ones mentioned in this article, please contact our support team at support@fibretrace.io.
