Active Order - When the Order Delivery Date is in the future (greater than today). Order Delivery date for Active orders cannot be less than today. FibreTrace® does not allow users to create orders retrospectively. You can only create an order with a delivery in the future.
Completed Order - When the Order Delivery Date is in the past. You can edit this date for both active and completed orders, with the Order completion date having to be after the order date.
Please be aware that transaction certificates and QR codes are exclusively functional for completed orders.
An Active Order may be changed to a Completed Order under various circumstances, including but not limited to:
- In the event of order duplication, it is necessary to adjust the delivery date accordingly. By default, when an order is duplicated, the delivery date is set to 2099. Consequently, until the order's delivery date is completed, the respective product will not be displayed in your or your customers' inventory.
- For retailers who have adjusted their delivery dates or initiated an advanced season launch, it is crucial to ensure that the QR codes on their swing tags are live and active. It is important to note that if the order associated with these QR codes is not marked as completed, the B2C portal will not function properly. Therefore, it is essential to finalize the order status to enable seamless operation of the B2C portal and ensure optimal customer experience.
- Regarding your gin production, if you have extended the delivery date of your order due to awaiting cotton delivery from farmers, but the delivery is progressing as anticipated, you can adjust the order completion date to delivery dates. This update enables your supply chain partners to seamlessly incorporate your product into their orders, ensuring smooth operations within the supply chain.
Login to FibreTrace® and click on the Hamburger menu in the top right corner, and choose Orders:
Pick an Order you want to edit and click on the Order ID link:
This will open a pop-up form, where you can edit all the information related to your order. By changing the Order completion date from the one in the future to the current date, you can change your order from Active to Completed, or the other way around.
Once you have finished completing the audits click Submit and your order will be completed.
