What is the difference between FibreTrace® MAPPED and FibreTrace® VERIFIED?

MAPPED is FibreTrace’s advanced digital transparency solution which maps the global textile supply chain from fibre to retail.  MAPPED is self reported data and as such the information show on the various maps will display with a Grey icon.

VERIFIED includes FibreTrace® MAPPED with the addition of physical technology to provide integrity and authentication. Specifically, VERIFIED includes FibreTrace® traceability pigments, which are transacted at the Spinning Mill or Raw Fibre manufacturer. The VERIFIED solution also includes bluetooth scanners which are used to detect the presence of the FibreTrace® pigment in fibres.

VERIFIED is where FibreTrace® scanners confirm the product information and as such the information show on the various maps will display with a Green icon and information about the scanner to prove it was used to verify the Audit.
