How to perform a Digital Audit?

There are two types of audits: Physical Audits and Digital Audits.

A Physical Audit uses a Bluetooth scanner to find the FibreTrace® pigment in the fibre, connecting digital traceability to physical traceability, and confirming authenticity by reading the signal of the FibreTrace® ID. Only FibreTrace® VERIFIED customers can perform physical audits. 

On the other hand, a Digital Audit offers similar functionality to a physical audit but does not require the use of a Bluetooth scanner and does not require products to have FibreTrace® Pigments. This method allows users to map the entire supply chain leveraging the free features and tools available within the FibreTrace® platform without physical traceability.

To perform Digital Audits, please follow the steps listed below:

1. On the dashboard, you can either click on "Audits" in the left corner (1), or click on "Perform an audit" below (2).

2. Under the "Upcoming" section, after reviewing all the details of the selected order process, click on "Audit" located on the right side.

3. To continue, the browser will ask to record your location. A notification will appear in the upper-left corner. Click on "Allow while visiting the site".

4. After reviewing all the information, if everything is accurate, click either "Submit and Close" or "Submit Audit and Send."

4.1 Use the "Submit and Close" option if you are the last person in the supply chain, if you do not need to send it to the next person, or if you prefer to send it later.

4.1.1 To send the audit later, go to "Audits" and refer to the "Upcoming" section.

4.1.2 On the right side of the selected order process, click the arrow button.

4.1.3 Then, select the company (1) and person (2) you wish to send the audit to. If required by your customer, you may also upload the necessary documents (3). Once all steps are completed, click Send in the bottom-right corner.

4.2 After completing all the steps, click "Submit Audit and Send" to forward the audit to the next party in the supply chain.

After completing the steps referred to in 4.1.3, click "Send".
